Africa Energy Forum

The Africa Energy Forum (AEF) is the world’s largest trade show and conference for Africa’s power, energy, infrastructure and industrial sectors.  It brings together over 2,000 attendees from 77 countries (64% of whom are from Africa), 300 speakers, and over 100 public sector representatives from Africa. The Trade Commissioner Service, the Canadian Commercial CorporationNatural Resources Canada, and Export Quebec will be on the ground to support Canadian companies at the AEF.

Canada Program

There will be a roster of Canada side events, starting on Monday, June 10, the day before the AEF, and continuing to Thursday, June 13, to help connect you to partners, funding and opportunities.

As well, a Canada Pavilion with increased functionality will have space for small B2B and B2G meetings, display space for your marketing materials, wall space for your company logo, and a screen on which to play your promotional video.

Funding support to attend AEF

The CanExport program supports small and medium-sized companies that are developing an export strategy for new markets. Eligible companies can be reimbursed up to 50% of the costs associated with their participation at AEF, including: travel (airfare, hotels and meals for two employees), registration fees, and market research.
